PSI TENNESSEE BC-A, B - COMBINED RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL CONTRACTOR

Our PSI Tennessee BC-A, B - COMBINED RESIDENTIAL/SMALL COMMERCIAL CONTRACTOR course is designed by contractors, for contractors. We provide the most effective training available to help you pass any PSI Exam.

The following reference materials are allowed in the examination center:

1. International Building Code, 2021 - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2021 code can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2012 code will no longer be allowed.  
2. International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2021 - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2021 code can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2012 code will no longer be allowed.  
3. Code of Federal Regulations - 29 CFR Part 1926 (OSHA), with latest available amendments
4. Carpentry and Building Construction, 2010 or 2016 (Student Edition)
   
5. Roofing Construction and Estimating, 1995 or 2022 - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2020 edition can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2015 edition will no longer be allowed. 
6. Modern Masonry - Brick, Block, Stone, 9th edition (2020) - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2020 edition can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2015 edition will no longer be allowed
7. Pipe and Excavation Contracting, 2011
8. Gypsum Construction Handbook, 7th edition, 2014
9. Technical Digest No. 9 – Handling and Erection of Steel Joists and Joist Girders, 3rd Edition, 2008 - Starting 1/1/2026, the 2025 4th edition can be used. As of 4/1/2026 the 2008 edition
10. SDI Manual of Construction with Steel Deck, 2016, 3rd Edition
    
11. Placing Reinforcing Bars, 2011 or 2022 edition - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2022 edition can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2011 edition will no longer be allowed 
12. Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures, 2016 or 2021 Edition - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2021 edition can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2016 edition will no longer be allowed 
13. ACI 530/530.1-13 (2013) Building Code Requirements and Specification for Masonry Structures and Companion Commentaries
14. ACI 318-19 (2019) Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete and Commentary - Starting 3/12/2026 the 2019 code requirements can be used. As of 6/15/2026 the 2011 code requirements will no longer be allowed
